Certificates
While there are many great programs out there these are certificates that I have had personal experience with and can verify their quality.
User Experience Certificate from The Team W
Provides a great overview of the profession and specific tools and activities that you might need to use throughout your career.
UX Certificate from Nielsen Norman
Leading authority within the UX field. To complete your certificate you choose the courses you wish to take. I suggest taking more advanced courses rather than beginner courses from this program.

Resources for those who wish to transition into management or are currently undergoing that transition.
Manager Tools conference and podcasts
Highly recommend the “Effective Manager” conference and they have a ton of free podcasts available.
Resilient Management by Laura Hogan

Abby Jones - I have found her passages and twitter feed to be hilarious and relatable as she navigates her role as a UX Manager at Google.
